In SAP the customer can create its own object according the names in SAP Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects. This is made to avoid collisions during upgrades or support packages for the standard objects by SAP.
For instance you can define reports and set them in validations, create function modules and set them in BTE (transaction FIBF) or the typical reporting lists with ALV reports. We can also create tables, fields or other dictionary objects. It's the same z-report than customer report, or z-table than customer table.
