Ordinary depreciation is not calculated evenly

Hello Experts,

Please help me resolve this issue.

Straight line depreciation wherein ordinary depreciation is not calculated evenly from the day depreciation needs to be calculated. I want depreciation to be calculated evenly among all the periods. Currently the depreciation is not calculated evenly irregardless of the acquisition period.

Attached is the screenshot demonstrating the problem.

Example: Useful life: 10 years, Acquisition year: 2014     Asset Acquisition Cost = 120000

Ordinary Depreciation  (12000/12 = 1000)

For acq. year 2014, depreciation for all 12 months = 12000 spread evenly to every month.

if acq period = 1, the ordinary dep. calculated should be as

1=1000

2=1000

3=1000

so on...12=1000

I have period control 01/01/02/02 so all depreciation will calculate from 01.

Please let me know if I missed anything.
